What is Pupil Premium?

Pupil Premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers.

Schools receive funding for every child that has qualified for free school meals within the last six years, for children who have a parent within the armed forces and also for looked after children.
